Marine Technology
Commercial diving is an exciting career that employs familiar surface-pursued aspects such as medicine, construction and materials science in the dynamic underwater arena.
Reach higher, with a Commercial Diving degree or certificate, and call yourself one of the elite few who make a really good living in the world’s most dramatic arena. Three separate programs are available within this division, including:
- Certificate in Marine Technology
- Associate of Science Degree in Marine Technology
- Associate of Science Degree in Marine Technology with a Homeland Security Management concentration
Within these programs, you’ll be able to pursue a number of concentrations depending upon your interests. Work beneath the seas and oversee either the health of fellow surface-supplied-air divers (MedTech), the integrity of aircraft and underwater structures (SpecTech), or the wet welding of fillet joints (WeldTech).
Upon completion of your program, you’ll receive your professional commercial diving ticket to work in oceans, rivers, lakes, harbors, and anywhere there’s water. And with our nation’s security issues, as well as the ever-increasing pursuit of natural resources and alternative food and living sources beneath the surface, job growth opportunities continue to grow.
Breathe easy. You’ll be ready when we’re done with you.
