National Polytechnic Now Offers 20-week Non-Destructive Testing Certificate Program

National Polytechnic College of Science is pleased to announce the offering of a Non-Destructive Testing certificate program.
The Nondestructive Testing Certification is 24 quarter credits and only takes 20 weeks to complete.
Upon completion of the program, students will have acquired the skills necessary in determining the integrity of structures in accordance with various industry codes and standards. It also provides training in the use of sophisticated techniques that include ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and visual inspection.
Students who complete the program will have the opportunity to earn the following letters of qualification:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to Level II (longitudinal and shearwave)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to Level II
- Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) to Level II
- Visual Weld Inspection (VT) to Level II
The letter of qualification demonstrates that the graduate has been trained to the American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ANST) standards and the International Standard Organization (ISO) 9,000 series.
